September 28, 2018 marks the 100th anniversary of Vasily Aleksandrovich Sukhomlinsky's birth - an outstanding Ukrainian teacher, publicist, writer, honored teacher of the Ukrainian SSR. According to the decision of the UN, UNESCO will take part in the celebration. Pedagogical experience of Vasily Sukhomlinsky is successfully used in the world today- his principles are used in the formation of a new system of students' evaluation based on encouragement and stimulation, his methods are used in inclusive education. Over time the interest of scientists and teachers in the life and works of V. Sukhomlinsky is growing, spreading in Ukraine and in the world. Modern humane pedagogy can not be imagined without his works.
