Reading room of natural, technical and economic literature introduces the show "Country, de go sonce", dedicated to Japan. Readers are presented sections of the exhibition, reflecting the political, economic and cultural life of this country, as well as features of life and cultural heritage of the Japanese.
The exhibition presents Japanese prints XVIII-XIX centuries from the Hermitage collection, as well as the history of the Japanese color woodcut (wood engraving), which is a unique phenomenon in the history of world art.
